Ashnil Aruba Lodge-Luxury Safari Lodge In Tsavo East National Park. Ashnil Aruba Lodge lies in the heart of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya. Its location is superb, just a couple of hours from the coast of Mombasa, 5 hours leisurely drive from Nairobi and is located on the banks of Aruba Dam which was built in 1952 as a sport fishing recreational point in the park. Several watering holes nearby attract wildlife and spotting animals is easy because the park lies flat with savannah grassland. The prime location of the ashnil aruba lodge in the conservation areas provides an ideal start of game viewing right from the balcony of your room.
Accommodation and Meals
Ashnil Aruba Lodge– has a total of 40 deluxe en-suite rooms with 8 having interconnecting doors. 4 triple rooms with one interconnecting room, 6 luxury tents and 2 rooms suited for disabled persons.
The open sitting restaurant located in the main building, overlooks the dam at all angles and can sit a maximum of 150 guests. The wooden deck shaded by canvas umbrellas can be used as extra seating during meal times. The buffet platforms, both warm and cold, sit in the middle of the restaurant for easy access by all. The restaurant serves set buffets featuring international, oriental and traditional African cuisine. Meal plans: Full board basis.
The lounge bar Ashnil Aruba Lodge is located in the main building away from the main dining area. The décor has an African touch that makes it a wonderful place to pass time and relax. There is a variety drinks served and include liqueur, soft drinks, cocktails, wines, and spirits, local and international beers. The seating capacity is about 60 guests.

GETTING THERE
By road: Aruba lodge is 30 Kilometers from Voi gate, 40 Kilometers from the Bachuma gate and 66 Kilometers from Sala gate. Its about 2 hours drive from Mombasa and about 3 hours drive from Malindi.
By air: Ashnil Aruba is accessible by air from either Nairobi or Mombasa
Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya covering 13,747 km². Opened in April 1948, it is located near the village of Voi in the Taita District of Coast Province. The Nairobi – Mombasa highway and the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) divide Tsavo East from Tsavo West. Several small rivers including the main river Tsavo / Galana river cross the park and flow into the Indian ocean. Visit the nearby swamp area with often a high concentration of animals, the ancient granite rock Mutanda and the Lugard Falls in the North. The park is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, lesser kudus, Grant gazelles, gerenuks and around 500 bird species among others.
