Eliye Springs Resort
Eliye Springs Resort is located on the Western shores of Lake Turkana, 65KMs from Lodwar town,Northern part of Kenya. Eliye Springs Camp & Lodge includes 6 luxury and unique Turkana bomas, a well stocked bar with cold drinks, an open dining room, the Palm tree bar, the massage corner, a swimming pool, motor boats and fishing equipment. A boma contains a main house (the biggest ever built Turkana hut) with double bed or twin bed and some furniture, a verandah facing the Lake, a tiled bathroom and a space for relaxing, sunbath and pleasure.
Accommodation and Meals
The accommodation in Eliye Springs Lodge are 6 tallest ever built traditional Turkana huts called Boma, of which one is an executive Boma with 2 Bedrooms.They are luxurious spacious sleeping rooms each with a double bed, furniture, tiled bathroom, solar lights, veranda with sun chairs facing the Lake, and a Swiss gymnastic ball for your daily exercise. Eliye Springs Resort has 2 types of tents to rent: one is the common doom type, a simple tent for 1 – 2 persons. The other type is the Eliye tent for one person, which is basically a mosquitonet over your beddings. The advantage of this type is the fresh air and the free sight to the night sky.
The Restaurant at Eliye Springs Lodge offers national and international food. Full board guests enjoy a set menu, while other visitors have the choice from an a la carte menu. Main food is of course the delicious fresh Fish from Lake Turkana and on request also vegetarian dishes. The bar is well stocked with all the sorts of cold drinks, soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits.

Eliye Springs Fishing Safari package is available for serious sports fisher to to catch the huge Nile Perch with the Blue Moon, a special well equipped fishing boat. Professional fishing gear is available. The most promising site is around Central Island National Park, where we can get a license for sports fishing. Feel free to discover the Crocodile- and the Flamingo- Crater Lake, or just try your luck with fishing from the shores, where you have a good chance to catch Tilapia, Tigerfish or Madfish beside other species.
