Four Seasons Safari Lodge
Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti is a luxury hotel in Tanzania Africa with 77 rooms and suites overlooking Serengeti National Park, one of the greatest safari areas on Earth. From many areas of the lodge there are dramatic views over the open savannah and bush, and the waterholes attract animals throughout the day. Cooling yourself in your suite’s private pool, watch zebras, wildebeests, and elephants do the same at the nearby watering hole.
From Dar es Salaam, Seronera is the closest airstrip. From there you’ll be whisked to the lodge via private safari vehicle in about 45 minutes.
Accommodation and Meals
Fantasy turned to reality, Four Seasons Safari Lodge is designed for such a high standard of luxury that it will drop the jaws of the most discerning world-travelers. Most of the 77 suites overlook a beautiful azure infinity swimming pool and waterhole frequently visited by huge herds of elephants.
Four Seasons Serengeti has 77 rooms (60 guest rooms, 12 suites and 5 villas). All rooms have an attractive contemporary African décor with local textiles and artwork and feature four-poster beds. Guests enjoy relaxing on the elevated, open-air sundeck which has a direct view of the surrounding landscape.
Meals here are an event in and of themselves, beginning with a sumptuous buffet breakfast. After a day on safari, hot air ballooning, or enjoying any of the adventures offered by the hotel, enjoy a light snack at the pool-bar before sunset. Later, savor the experience of the hotel’s “theater” kitchen as Pan-African cuisine is prepared right before your eyes. Finally, as the moon rises high into the sky, order a cocktail and find a seat in the hotel’s Boma.
Activities: – In addition to the magnificent surrounding wildlife, Four Seasons delivers memorable ways to experience the Serengeti, with unique activities that include hot-air balloon rides across the plains, picnics in the bush, and safari photography classes.
The Discovery Centre is a great place to learn about African culture and history. You can get to know the local Maasai people and become involved in socially responsible programs, such as those that help local schools and support wildlife conservation.
