Kudu Lodge and Camp
Kudu Lodge and Camp nestles in 11 acres of rolling countryside, amidst mature trees and flowers, home to many birds and a tranquil and shady oasis hideaway for visitors. The perfect base for Game Safaris into the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara National Parks. The tropical gardens at Kudu lodge are exquisite and the cottages are tucked away down little winding paths, past flourishing avocado and banana trees, giant lobelias, decorative lilies, and colorful bougainvilleas.
Kudu Lodge and Camp-comfortable, well appointed en-suite bungalows, all free standing and set among lush tropical gardens, with sweeping views of the camping grounds, the surrounding hills and farms. They are simple but tastefully furnished and each unit has a private verandah. The bungalows can cater for the maximum of 30 clients at a time; all are priced competitively to suit all sorts of clients.
Accommodation and Meals
Kudu facilities include: 25 private bungalows, 60-seater restaurant, excellent cuisine, well stocked bar, local African dance group, games room, internet facilities and good clear water from Kudu’s own borehole. A separate 2 acre campsite with hot showers and kitchen facilities caters for those choosing to sleep under the stars.
Restaurant:- The food is simple, but delicious with fresh vegetables featuring both african and international cuisine plus varieties of savoury pies befitting an establishment of this exclusivity. The chef will gladly try to accommodate special dietary needs upon request.
Bar and Lounge:- The cozy, well stocked lively bar, with a huge fire place to keep the guests warm on cooler evenings, you can either tuck yourself into the garden chair, with an iced drink on your table while enjoying the sun set over Ngorongoro hills.
Camping at Kudu Lodge and Camp :- Very large, well shaded / fenced camping grounds with facilities. The camping ground can accommodate 60 tents at a time.
Activities
Village – Guided Walking Safari:- There are varieties of outings of different durations and style designed to introduce guests to all wonder/beauty of karatu or tanzania in general, the guided walking safari will take you through the country side/village/ coffee farms, water fall with a chance of cultural interactions with local people by visiting the local market, the village school or traditional iraq houses
Horse riding:- Kudu Lodge and Camp offers horse back riding through the local villages. One of the most enchanting experience of horse riding is the pause in the heat of the day to picnic in the restfull shade of the majestic trees and savour the sounds and scents of Africa all around you.
