Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge is dramatically located on the very edge of the vertiginous western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Affording magnificent views across the lake, Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge is elegantly designed as a tranquil safari lodge. Lake Manyara National Park park lies 3 km from the small town of Mto wa Mbu, Northern Tanzania (130 kilometres west of Arusha via the Arusha-Serengeti road: approximate journey time 1.5 hours). The national park has an airstrip. Lake Manyara national park is famous for its spectacular tree-climbing lions and also offers; monkey, jackal, mongoose, hyena, hyrax, elephant, rhino, leopard, zebra, hippo, warthog, buffalo, Masai giraffe, duiker, waterbuck and impala. Birds: Manyara is noted for its wealth of bird life, which includes many thousands of lesser flamingoes, greater flamingos, pelican, yellow-billed stork and white-necked cormorant.
The Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge also offers a hill-top swimming pool and sundeck with panoramic views.

Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge has 100 spacious ensuite guestrooms, each of them with a private balcony affording magnificent stunning views over the Lake and the Rift Valley. Tastefully decorated, they comprise 2 suites, three interconnecting family rooms and 8 deluxe rooms. Additionally the lodge offers a TV lounge (satellite TV), a boutique, videos, a private landing strip, medical services, laundry and reception/communication services.
The restaurant, set on the very edge of the escarpment, overlooks the lake. A team of professional chefs offer both international and local cuisine using locally grown produce. Theme nights are also offered. The bar also offers a terrace overlooking the lake. Menus at the lodge typically reflect the best of Tanzania choices, vegetarian options, safari specials and international favorites.
