Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Ruaha National Park

Depart with the 08h30 am flight from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver-guide and game drive transfer to your camp. Ruaha is the home to all five big predators- lions, leopards, cheetah, wild dog and hyenas- and it’s known for it. Ruaha’s dry river beds also see the curious act of elephants digging for water. You cannot miss the extraordinary rock formations and endemic birdlife, making Ruaha so unique. Enjoy lunch, dinner and overnight at the Mdonya Old River Camp or similar.

Day 2: Ruaha National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast, followed by a full day game drive with picnic lunch or two half-day game drives returning to your camp for lunch. In the evenings, return to the camp to find abonfire and a hearty meal under the stars. Overnight at the Mdonya Old River Camp or similar.

Day 3: Ruaha National Park to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Ruaha National Park before arriving at the Ruaha airstrip, where you will catch the 11h45 am flight to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar. End of your 3 Days Safari to Ruaha national park by air.
