This a 3 Days Tanzania safari tour to watch the great Migration in west Serengeti, this Great migration tour is scheduled to take place between 1st May and 30th June, on this period the migration is usually west of Serengeti and is also the wildebeest rutting period. The wildebeest migration is a spectacular natural event that attracts thousands of tourists to Serengeti eco system in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya. This tour begins by driving from Arusha to west Serengeti(around the Grumeti hills); where you will spend the next two days tracking down the wildebeest, thousands of Zebras, Antelopes, Giraffes, all the Big five and over 400 bird species, among other wildlife in Serengeti.

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti

On this day you will be picked from the airport or on an agreed venue in Arusha, briefed about your safari itinerary and driven to Grumeti Hills Lodge ors similar in West Serengeti, on the way; you will have a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge, a beautiful gorge where the Homo Habilis were first discovered.

On arrival at Grumeti Hills Lodge you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest before heading for your first evening game drive. Grumeti Hills is a beautiful safari lodge situated about 7km west of Robanda village in Grumeti Game Reserve, this lodge sits a hill and it has an expansive view of the park.

Day 2, Whole Day Migration Tour in  Grumeti Game Reserve 

On this Day after breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a packed picnic lunch for a whole day tour of the great migration, our tour guide; will guide you through major attraction west of Serengeti, watching thousands of wildebeest, thousands of Zebras, Antelopes, Giraffes, all the Big five, over 400 bird species among other wildlife in Serengeti.

Overnight Grumeti Hills Lodge

Day 3: Serengeti to Arusha 

On your last day, you will have a morning game drive down to the River to watch more wildlife migration, and then return to the Lodge for lunch and a brief rest, before driving back to Arusha, for your evening flight back home.
