Day 01 Arrive Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport today, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, to spend your first night in Tanzania.

Onsea House, just outside of Arusha, is a cosy and tranquil Country Inn with 2 rooms opening onto a shared terrace and an adjacent self-contained guest cottage.  The rooms of the cottage each have private wooden balconies. Onsea House has bars, breakfast areas and a swimming pool in a garden area with views across the Masai steppe, the Monduli Mountains and the spectacle of Mount Meru.

Day 02 Arusha – Tarangire

You will be met by your private guide today and driven to Tarangire National Park, where you will spend the next 2 nights under canvas at Oliver’s Camp, with all game drives, a walking safari, meals and drinks included.

Located in the middle of the Tarangire wilderness, Oliver’s Camp provides 10 guest tents scattered along the marsh edge with excellent views over the permanent water source.  Each newly refurbished tent is now covered by traditional thatch and offers an outdoor shower with indoor toilet and wash facilities.   
Every evening you can relax or read in the lounge and library tent, or drink sundowners at the fireplace after an exciting day in the heart of  Tarangire.

Day 03 Tarangire National Park

This morning will be spent on an exciting walking safari before a game drive explores more of Tarangire.

Day 04 Tarangire ~ Ngorongoro

Leaving Tarangire you will be driven to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, before continuing up to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater offering incredible views where you will spend 2 nights.

Day 05 Ngorongoro Crater

This morning will be an early start as you drive down the steep inner wall of the Crater to the floor below. You will spend the day on a game drive here, before returning to the rim for sundowners.

Day 06 Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti

You will bid your guide farewell today as he takes you to the Manyara Airstrip in time for your flight to the Serengeti National Park, where you will spend the next 3 nights in the prime location to view the herds of the wildebeest migration and the attendant predators

All meals and shared game drives are included as well as drinks and a walking safari (walking safari is only available in “Option B” when the camp is in Ndutu, southern Serengeti.)

Day 07 & 08 Serengeti National Park

These 2 full days will be spent exploring the Serengeti plains on shared game drives and a walking safari (when available), looking for the best sightings of the wildebeest migration.

Day 09 Serengeti – Zanzibar

This morning you will have one last game viewing activity before being taken to catch your flight out of the Serengeti and on to Zanzibar. You will be met on arrival at the airport and transferred into Stone Town to spend the 1 night on a bed and breakfast basis, giving you some free time to explore the maze of streets and try out some of the local cuisine.

Day 10 Zanzibar

You will have some more time to experience Stone Town before being transferred to the north east coast of the island, to spend 4 idyllic nights in your beachside bungalow with all meals included.

Matemwe lies perched on a coral rock, surrounded by pristine beaches and right opposite the Mnemba Atoll, which offers spectacular diving and snorkelling.
Set in a lush garden, the lodge consists of 12 beautiful bungalows all built from local materials. 
Each suite has a private veranda, with a hammock and couch from which you have a glorious view of the Indian Ocean.   The bathroom is large with a deep bathtub and walk-in shower.   
The open-air restaurant overlooks the ocean and has a tranquil lounge area.    Seafood is the specialty of the house, with all produce bought daily from the local markets.   Lunch is a buffet offering a delicious mix of African and European flavours.  Dinner provides you with a wide choice of main courses which includes fish, meat and vegetarian options.

Day 11 – 12 Zanzibar

You will have 3 full days to completely relax and live in island style, doing as much or as little as you choose.

Day 13 Day of Departure

Today you will be transferred back to Zanzibar Airport in time for your onward flight out of Tanzania.You will bid Tanzania a fond farewell after experiencing some of her most beautiful people, places and creatures.
