Murchison Falls National Park lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley. The park is bisected by the Victoria Nile, which plunges 45m over the remnant rift valley wall, creating the dramatic Falls where it derives its name Murchison Falls. Uganda’s most spectacular park bisected by the Nile that gives you a guarantee to see the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic bird species including goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hombills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork can be seen along the shores of the River. Spectacular Murchison Falls After breakfast transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight to Pakuba airstrip. On arrival transfer to the lodge. Lunch at the Lodge. Game drive in the Murchison Falls Park which is one of the most spectacular in Uganda. This is the largest game park in Uganda (3,840sq.km) and has the largest concentration of animals. Here is the awe inspiring Murchison Falls, where the River Nile hurls itself in appalling convulsions through a narrow crevice and then plunges 40 metres in one breathtaking leap. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast. Morning boat cruise on the Nile River to view the variety of wildlife including Hippo, Crocodile besides a variety of bird life. This cruise will also take you to the bottom of the spectacular Murchison Falls. All meals and overnight at the lodge. Afternoon game drive.
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe. Connect for your respective flights back home.
