Samburu game Lodge is set in 10 acres of pristine riverine forest on the western bank of the Uaso Nyiro River within the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya at an altitude of 857 meters above sea level. The Samburu National Reserve, conjoined with the smaller but no less attractive Buffalo Springs Reserve, lies a mere 320 kilometres from Nairobi.
This is true wilderness, and home to varieties of animals and birds rarely seen in other parts of the country. Here are to be found the Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, the Reticulated giraffe and Blue Shanked Somali ostrich.

Samburu Safari Lodge has rooms that meet the needs of all explorers from luxury cottages and bandas to single and twin rooms. All rooms at Samburu Safari Lodge are decorated to the highest standard and overlook the river.
Lorokushu restaurant: The restaurant is designed in distinct African style overlooking the Uaso Nyiro river and can accommodate 120 guests. Diners are entertained by a Samburu flute player.The main dining room is open on the riverside with long tables and large buffets. The ever popular Crocodile Bar overhangs the water and is a great vantage point for the nightly crocodile feeding. The restaurant offers beautiful views, fantastic food. The daily changing menu provides a fantastic range of choices to suit everyone
The Crocodile Bar and the Vulturine Bar offer fantastic views of the Ewaso Nyiro river with excellent service, and the Pool Bar can ply you with snacks and cool drinks while you languidly relax by the swimming pool.

Day 1. Samburu – Depart Nairobi in the morning flight for Samburu Game Reserve afternoon game drive. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Samburu Safari Lodge
Day 2. Samburu – Early morning and afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at Samburu Safari Lodge
Day 3. Departure – Early morning game, breakfast and depart to the airstrip for flight to Nairobi arriving at approximately 1200hrs.
