Tarangire Safari Lodge
Tarangire Safari Lodge is situated on a panoramic bluff in Tarangire National Park, with one of Tanzania’s most spectacular views, encompassing acacias and baobabs, plentiful wildlife and the Tarangire River. The river flows through the park and is a magnet for wildlife, especially large populations of elephant. The park also contains varied and contrasting landscapes and unrivalled birdlife. Game drives within Tarangire National Park are a year-round wildlife spectacle. At the heart of the lodge are the impressively high thatched roofs of the lounge and dining area. Tarangire Safari Lodge has an open design that allows for an uninterrupted landscape view and captures the cooling breeze.

Accommodation and Meals
Accommodation is in thatched twin, double or triple tents with mesh-screened windows, or five bigger, circular, Maasai-style bungalows which are perfect for families. They are all en-suite with solar-heated showers and each has its own veranda.
The accommodations consists of a total of 40 guest rooms made up of 24 twin and 11 double tents built on a solid base with thatched roof and verandah, and 5 bungalows for triple occupancy built from local stone in the circular style of Maasai huts, all with en suite bathroom (shower, solar-heated water), and a verandah.
The Tarangire Safari Lodge boasts a spacious open-air dining room, serving international home-style safari cuisine; coffee and Tea is complimentary all day long. The lodge serves an early dinner for young children and the chefs can cater for any dietary requirements. Other facilities include a well stocked bar and lounge, an outdoor pool, a splash pool for children, laundry, and a gift shop. WiFi is available in the main lounge and charges are applicable.
By road – Tarangire Safari Lodge is an easy drive from Arusha on tarred road to 7 km before Tarangire National Park. It’s just over 100 km (65 miles), which takes about two hours to drive. Tarangire Safari Lodge is about 10 km from the main gate.
By air – Arusha is served by two airports. Arusha Airport has daily flights from numerous local destinations and Kilimanjaro International Airport has daily flights from local, African and international airlines. Charter flights to Tarangire can be booked.
