The Red Pepper House
The Red Pepper House is located on coconut beach-Lamu and is decorated in Swahili-style and combined with contemporary art, the spacious suites are housed in traditional houses, called Nyumbas. They offer sea views and feature an outside living area and a verandah. Each Nyumba has a private butler. The bathrooms have spacious showers. The Superior Suite with sea views features an open air bathroom. All suites are equipped with a safe, hairdryer, bathrobes and a minibar.

The hotel has just five spacious nyumbas (the Swahili name for home), each offering a covered living area, veranda, open air African shower and a private boma and beach area. A private butler is also available to attend to your needs and even accompany you on visits and excursions if you wish. There are many places to eat, drink, relax and watch the sunset around the property including the swimming pool. The Red Pepper House in Lamu specializes in Swahili and Mediterranean cuisine. A private chef can be arranged upon request. Refreshments and snacks can be enjoyed at the bar.
Some of the activities that can be arranged include romantic private dining on the beach; bird watching in the surrounding forest, snorkelling, African spa treatments and dhow cruises.
Guests can take a stroll on the beach or take a refreshing dip in the pool. Massages and beauty treatments are available at the open-air Kuzi Pamper House Spa or in the privacy of your suite.
