Ziwa Bush Lodge
Ziwa Bush Lodge is located in Nakuru. Hyrax Hill Prehistoric Site is a local landmark, and the area’s natural beauty can be seen at Lake Nakuru National Park and Menengai Crater.
Ziwa Bush Lodge is a beautiful traditionally built lodge tranquil that is a perfect getaway for couples or families. It is off the Nakuru-Njoro highway located about 10Km from Nakuru town towards Njoro.
It is set among lush gardens and a pond amidst numerous trees offering a serene and quiet environment to its visitors. Ziwa Bush Lodge features traditional Makuti thatched-roof buildings. The lodge has a perfect views of the magnificent wheat fields right next to it and is secluded to provide privacy and to capitalize on the serene surroundings. The lodge supports East African Mission Orphanage right next to it and before or after dinner you may take a short stroll up to see EAMO’s remarkable children and even tuck them in to their beds if you please.
Accommodation and Meals
The rooms at Ziwa Bush Lodge are clean, modern, ample in size and incredibly comfortable. There are six double executive rooms, all en suite. The rooms are made from local stones and have thatched roofing and each room has its own private veranda where you may enjoy a hot drink overlooking the grounds’ magnificent wheat field with a spectacular distant view of Nakuru town.
Also available is a family room mirroring the executive rooms but is attached to another room with twin beds to cater for families. The other accommodation option is the standard twin rooms, also tastefully decorated and with en suite facilities and hot showers.
The dining at Ziwa Bush Lodge offers a comfortable seating area and serves a selection of continental dishes, Italian cuisine and vegetarian food. Ziwa Bush Lodge also has a fish pond where guests can fish their own dinner. There is a swimming pool to cool of on hot sunny days.
